Beyond Emancipation (B:E) helps ensure that transition-aged youth in the child welfare system have the support they need to successfully move into adulthood. B:E has begun to shift the youth services field through living and sharing our coaching model: Creative Connected Resourceful and Whole (CCRW). CCRW is built on the premise that when vulnerable youth identify, access, and cultivate their own voice and values, they achieve enduring success. In this nontraditional keynote address, B:E staff will share their eight-year journey from being a traditional social service agency to becoming an organization that champions youth-led coaching as a means of individual empowerment and community transformation.
The Lean Enterprise Institute’s Josh Howell will moderate a panel discussion with the team from B:E that mines the depths of their learning and applicability on behalf of a diverse group of summit attendees.
